After the 44-day war in 2020, Aghajanyan began creating monumental mosaic butterflies as images of life, rebirth and love. The project appeared in different sites in Yerevan and later in Stepanakert, linking private feeling with public space.
Since 2018, Aghajanyan has developed a sustained street-art practice in Armenia and Artsakh, using mosaic as a durable public language. Her portfolio records more than 45 street works.

For Aghajanyan, the artwork is a passage toward another reality: a space where her own perception of love can become visible. Her Butterflies and Love series connect the real and the unreal, while her wider practice explores dreams, subconsciousness, memory and the possibility of transformation.
Mosaic is central to her practice. Its slow, multi-stage construction allows an imagined or utopian life to become physical through accumulated fragments. In watercolor and collage, she approaches similar questions through delicacy, rupture, recollection and recombination.
She studied painting at the State College of Fine Arts after Panos Terlemezyan and earned a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts from the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts.
